To the “forgotten man”, woman and able-bodied registered non-participants, I dedicate this old chestnut, “Alexander the Great“
I am reanimated during the Festival of the Dead and watching early rehearsals for the Zombie Apocalypse reminded me of something I recorded after my first passing, some dance music for the damned, Charnel House.
Good News! At least in some worlds… Not possible in the world we share which is full of bad news, but I bear a scrap of good news — the November release of Wait For Go, available on 7″ vinyl from Attractive! It just may put a real big smile on that circle face…
The scary calendar cut over, the earth still turns, the Big Shebang has yet to come.
May this new year bring good things to you & yours and to everyone hurt by the hurricane including many people in the Forgotten Borough. If you want to help, Staten Island Strong helps storm victims get their lives back on track. You can make a donation at their site.
Thanks to everyone who listened to these relics. More to come soon at the bandcamp site.
Be seeing you!
(Or listen to the tracks right here.)
Most of the them were recently remastered for the Half Lives release on Anna Logue records and the rest of the restored songs are all here in order, along with a glimpse of the original cassette, a lost relic from the days of magnetic tape.
Half Lives was released on March 1, 2012. After thirty years in hibernation, these fourteen tracks were remixed and remastered expressly for Anna Logue Records and are available in vinyl and digital formats.
Hello iPhone Users,
The yule log has long sputtered out, the tree so lovingly trimmed is ground to mulch and if two new year celebrations later all you still feel is “meh,” the only remedy I can offer is this: Pick up your dang device, download my “Half Life” ringtone from the Apple Store and start half-living again!
This is the personal ringtone you should have rung in the new year with, except had you done that, you wouldn’t now be able to look forward to hearing that zippy riff each time your phone rang at inopportune times. That alone might be enough to prolong your seasonal affective disorder deep into Spring — and that’s just depressing.
So be the first one in your hotspot to own the “Half Life” ringtone and let everyone overhear your fine taste in music, wherever you go!
How to get the ringtone:
On your iPhone, select: Settings > Sounds > Ringtone > Buy More Tones
Select Search and enter “Half Life”, then scroll down to Ringtones and tap to preview.
